After working in the real estate industry and for another insurance company for many years, Don Allen decided to venture out on his own to establish Allen Insurance and Real Estate in 1972. As business developed, the agency slowly moved strictly to selling insurance and continues to offer these coverage solutions after more than 45 years of service.

We are a second generation, local, family-owned business offering insurance solutions in personal and commercial needs for current and prospective clients. Incorporated in 1987, Paul Allen took over the agency from his father Donald. Paul’s brother Vance joined the agency in 1996, and Paul’s daughter Jayde joined in 2016. Paul and Vance both graduated from Seaman High School and Washburn University, and Jayde graduated from Shawnee Heights High School and Baker University.
